Situation
This patent infringement case involved the unauthorized sale and use of our client’s patented biotechnology. After defending against claims of patent invalidity and patent misuse as well as numerous antitrust challenges, we obtained summary judgment on behalf of the client on all of its infringement claims and all of defendants’ counterclaims.
Result
The jury found that the defendants’ infringement was willful and rendered a verdict that resulted in a judgment for more than $15 million.
