Spencer Elg Receives Outstanding Legal Writing Award

Husch Blackwell Sanders' S. Spencer Elg was awarded the Tennessee Bar Association's Justice Joseph W. Henry Award for Outstanding Legal Writing for the article "Health Care Arbitration Agreements in Tennessee," published in the October 2009 issue of the Tennessee Bar Journal. The article was chosen as the best-written article from all published in the Tennessee Bar Journal in 2009. This year's judges were Tennessee Supreme Court Chief Justice Janice Holder, Vanderbilt University Law School Dean Chris Guthrie and Tennessee Bar Association President Gail Vaughn Ashworth. Elg was presented with the award at the Tennessee Bar Association's Lawyers Luncheon on June 3, 2010.

Elg is an Associate in the firm's Chattanooga, Tennessee, office and concentrates his practice in the area of Business Litigation Law. He joined the firm in 2009 after receiving his J.D. from Wake Forest University.
