Partner Melissa Marglous Merlin has been selected to participate in the 2009-2010 Leadership St. Louis class, an initiative of FOCUS St. Louis.
Those selected for FOCUS St. Louis' prestigious Leadership St. Louis program must possess strong leadership skills and dedication to improving the quality of life in their region. Students will spend nine concentrated months being educated on critical regional issues and meeting with key area decision makers. FOCUS St. Louis sparks positive community change by developing leadership, influencing policy, and promoting community connections.
In 2009, Merlin was one of 176 attorneys nationwide to receive the prestigious BTI Client Service All-Star award, given to attorneys determined to give superior client service to Fortune 1000 clients. Merlin has also received the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Labor Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Trusts and Estates.
Merlin concentrates her practice in the areas of Business Litigation and Product Liability and Toxic Tort. She has represented a wide range of clients in high-stakes products liability cases and complex commercial disputes across the country, and has experience in all phases and aspects of litigation.
