Husch Blackwell Sanders Partner Mark E. Stallion authored a chapter in the 2010 edition of Inside the Minds' "Developing a Patent Strategy," published by Aspatore Books. Stallion's chapter, "A Practical Overview of U.S. Patent Law Challenges and Strategy," is an overview of recent changes in patent law and trends in patent law practice. Stallion briefly discusses recent court decisions that are having an impact on this area of law including the Bilski and KSR decisions. The chapter also discusses international patent law changes and trends that are having an impact on U.S. practice and protection strategies in general, and covers suggested patent protection strategies and how these strategies relate to other intellectual property strategies.
