Husch Blackwell Sanders Represents Lenders on $240 Million Lost Creek Wind Project

Husch Blackwell Sanders represented lenders in the $240 million financing for a 150 megawatt wind project being constructed in Missouri. Construction for the project, located in DeKalb County, Missouri, is expected to be completed in late spring of 2010.The deal was one of the first transactions under which the investment tax credit grant proceeds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 were financed. The Lost Creek Wind Project is expected to generate enough electricity to power more than 50,000 homes and will feed into NW Electric Cooperative transmission lines.
