Husch Blackwell Sanders Receives Pro Bono Award from the Public Interest Law Group

Husch Blackwell Sanders is pleased to announce that Natasha Lipovac was one of two individual recipients of the Public Interest Law Group's 2010 "Excellence in Pro Bono Award." In addition, Husch Blackwell Sanders received the 2010 law firm "Excellence in Pro Bono Award."

Public Interest Law Group (PILG) at Saint Louis University School of Law works to make legal services more accessible to residents of the St. Louis area. The Excellence Awards are a new addition to PILG's annual auction event, which took place March 19, 2010. The award was created to honor law firms and individuals dedicated to pro bono work.

Lipovac is an Associate in the firm's St. Louis office and an alumna of Saint Louis University's School of Law. In addition to her practice, Lipovac represents children in collaboration with SLU Legal Clinic's juvenile court program where she acts as an advocate on behalf of minors accused of crimes.

Husch Blackwell Sanders received the firm "Excellence in Pro Bono Award" for its dedication to local pro bono efforts, such as the SLU Legal Clinics juvenile court program.
