Husch Blackwell Sanders expresses great pride in our colleague, Jennifer L. Schwendemann, for being awarded one of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis’ (BAMSL) President’s Awards.

The award will be presented at the 50th Anniversary Law Day Celebration on April 21, 2008, at which Maury B. Poscover, a Partner in the firm’s Business Services Division, will introduce the keynote speaker, American Bar Association President William H. Neukom.

An active member of BAMSL, Schwendemann serves on several committees. Schwendemann is being honored because of her work as Chair of BAMSL's recently re-activated Pro Bono Committee, which offers Continuing Legal Education training, and encourages and promotes the lawyers providing pro bono services throughout the St. Louis community.

Schwendemann serves as Husch Blackwell Sanders’ Director of Risk Management/Pro Bono Services. Prior to joining the firm, Schwendemann was the Chief Administrative Law Judge in The Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations' Division of Workers' Compensation.  She has presented more than 50 speeches at various seminars on various topics, including workers' compensation, evidence, mentoring, the importance of volunteerism, trial preparation and bar association involvement.
