The American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers (ACCFL) chose Husch Blackwell PartnerĀ Christopher J. Rockers to serve as President Elect for the 2011-2012 term. Rockers, who has previously served as Secretary and Vice-President of ACCFL, accepted the position at the ACCFL meeting on April 14.

Founded in 1991, the ACCFL promotes high professional standards and ethical responsibility in the practice of commercial finance law and provides educational materials. The ACCFL also rewards quality work, recognizing lawyers for excellence in writing and program presentations.

Rockers is extensively involved in many areas of finance law. He represents a diverse range of lenders, including national lenders, regional and community banks, commercial and consumer finance companies and venture and hedge funds providing cash flow senior financing, second lien, mezzanine and subordinated debt financings. In the area of commercial transactions, Rockers represents national and local lenders and borrowers in asset-based lending, cash flow financings and capital restructure and second lien loans, including mid-cap and large-cap syndicated credits.
