American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers Names Husch Blackwell's Chris Rockers President

The American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers (ACCFL) installed Husch Blackwell Partner Christopher J. Rockers as the 2012-2013 President at its annual meeting March 24. Rockers previously served as President-Elect, Vice-President and Secretary of the ACCFL.

Poscover, a founding ACCFL Fellow and past President. “Being chosen as the President among the illustrious membership is further recognition of Chris Rockers’ well justified respect among his peers as one of the best commercial finance lawyers in the Americas.”

Founded in 1991, the ACCFL promotes high professional standards and ethical responsibility in the practice of commercial finance law and provides educational materials. The ACCFL also rewards quality work, recognizing lawyers for excellence in writing and program presentations. Rockers is extensively involved in many areas of Banking & Finance law. He represents a diverse range of lenders, including national lenders, regional and community banks, commercial and consumer finance companies and venture and hedge funds providing cash flow senior financing, second lien, mezzanine and subordinated debt financings. Rockers also advises national and local lenders and borrowers in asset-based lending, cash flow financings and capital restructure, including mid-cap and large-cap syndicated credits.

Husch Blackwell's Banking & Finance practice focuses on the lending and regulatory activities of regional and national commercial lenders, retail banks, life insurance companies, CMBS conduit lenders, credit unions, savings associations and other financial institutions.
