Bill is a real estate and land use attorney with a knack for getting projects completed.

With nearly thirty years of experience, there are few building situations that Bill hasn’t handled. He has initiated and litigated land use and development issues on behalf of property owners, developers, municipalities and businesses, and he has served as special counsel on land use issues to towns, cities and counties. His experience with the latter includes extensive work on cooperative plans, boundary agreements, municipal incorporations and tax incremental financing.

Bill has also worked frequently with building projects that are in some way controversial, perhaps with neighbors in opposition or a civic group which disagrees with the proposal. He’s gifted at bringing people around, as well as at listening to objections and working out if and how plans can and should be modified. He finds great satisfaction in winning final approval and in developing a property that a whole neighborhood will appreciate.

In fact, Bill would say that’s what he values most about his work: the opportunity to facilitate projects that will improve both a client’s business and a client’s community.
