TJ has two passions: solving complex business problems and facilitating the development of renewable energy.

TJ always knew she wanted a career where she could utilize both her communication and analytical skills to solve complex problems. Now, her law practice focuses primarily on real estate transactions in the field of renewable energy. She counsels domestic and international corporations through the financing, investment, property rights acquisition, and development stages of utility scale wind and solar projects. TJ advises clients on a wide range of energy and real estate–related issues including:

  • Title and survey review
  • Leases
  • Easements
  • Estoppels
  • Landowner negotiations
  • Financing and investment agreements

TJ also has experience representing businesses and governmental entities in environmental law issues including property contamination and air quality. She previously worked for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, which provided her with an inside understanding of state environmental regulations and enforcement. As a former University of Texas Cheerleader, TJ is a team player at heart. She loves that her work allows her to feel passionate and purposeful every day, and provides her with the opportunity to play a strategic role in closing transactions that will make a positive impact on the environment and the world.
