Overview

Teresa is an estate planning paralegal who takes a personal interest in clients and their needs.

After more than 15 years in the legal industry, Teresa knows law firms and their clients very well. She began her career in litigation and dispute resolution but moved into private wealth in 2016, where she quickly discovered how much she loved the estate planning field. Teresa finds her practice area truly exciting because each client and situation is unique. The probate and tax preparation processes regularly reveal new details and new ways to help clients.

Teresa drafts informal and formal probate pleadings, deeds, and various estate planning documents, including trusts, wills and powers of attorney; performs legal research and document and title report review; and tracks court and filing deadlines. She also has extensive experience working directly with clients, routinely interviewing new clients and documenting their needs, details and desires.

Her work with clients is what she’s best known for: Teresa realizes that private wealth is a deeply personal area of law, and she aims to care as much about clients’ plans as they do. Teresa strives to get to know clients personally so she can fully understand their goals in estate planning. No client is ever just a number to her, and she has a gift for remembering individuals and their stories for years.
