As a patent attorney in Husch Blackwell’s Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation group, Ted advises sole inventors, startup entities, emerging businesses and Global 500 companies on protecting key intellectual property assets and developing IP/patent portfolios with meaningful value. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Ted regularly lectures MBA students at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee on intellectual property topics. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced law in Chicago with Bell, Boyd &Lloyd (now K&L Gates).
Prior to entering the practice of law, Ted worked as a production and research chemist at Sigma-Aldrich Chemical Co. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he was a space operations officer with responsibilities for satellite launch, command and control and served as mission controller for the successful launch of Milstar Flight 2, a billion-dollar military communications satellite. Ted began his military service as a member of the U.S. Air Force Band.
