Sharon focuses on renewable energy projects, assisting investors and developers with cutting-edge and timely solutions.

Renewable energy clients rely on Sharon as a key member of the real estate legal team to anticipate risks so they can envision and build innovative wind and solar projects. Sharon identifies liabilities within titles and surveys, proactively assisting clients in resolving issues. She analyzes complex compliance and permitting requirements; negotiates and identifies issues preventing insurability; and drafts a broad array of real property agreements and curative documents in order to close out projects. Matters she handles include:

  • Commercial real estate transactions
  • Due diligence reviews
  • Curing title issues and managing risk
  • Title and survey review and analysis
  • Negotiating and drafting leases, easements and other real property instruments

Sharon has valuable experience working for what was one of the largest independent wind and solar development companies in the United States as well as in-house experience. She is known for being highly organized and responsive, streamlining client projects from start to finish. Clients appreciate her ability to listen to new ideas in order to create fresh solutions for their individual legal needs.

Sharon has a passion to travel to new and exciting places.

Mexico’s Quintana Roo was the most recent, but Dublin, Ireland, is her favorite so far. At home, she likes to be outdoors, hiking and kayaking.
