Sandra has defended her clients in actions regarding their products, including actions alleging exposure to or damage caused by chemicals and radiation.

Sandra has second-chaired trials in both Missouri and federal court and has extensive motion practice experience. 

Prior to joining the firm, she was an assistant professor in the English department at the University of Miami. She also was a lecturer in Asian-American studies at the University of California-Santa Barbara. Sandra received the Missouri Bar Pro Bono Wall of Fame award in 2012.

  • Currently defending a large chemical manufacturer in a multi-plaintiff, multi-state case wherein plaintiffs are alleging that they suffered from lymphoma as a result of exposure to client’s product.
  • Defended a medical device manufacturer in a wrongful death/negligence action involving multiple plaintiffs who alleged radiation exposure and damages in excess of $10 million.
