Community Leadership

Ross is part of the Husch Blackwell team collaborating with Missouri Coalition for the Right to Counsel, a pro bono program designed to ease the workload on the state public defender’s office. He offers legal services pro bono involving both civil and criminal litigation.

Recently, Ross and other Husch Blackwell attorneys took on the case of an auto dealer charged with failure to pay sales tax on vehicles bought at out-of-state auctions. After investigating the facts and applicable law, Ross was able to convince the state prosecutor that no crime had been committed and charges should be dismissed – a rare outcome in state court.
