Ross has devoted his entire career to litigation.
He is the firm's only elected member of the Wisconsin chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. His litigation practice is focused in the following areas:
- Served as lead counsel, co-counsel or strategic advisor in several State & Local Tax controversy matters that resulted in litigation, including those that involved sales and use taxes, franchise and income taxes and property taxes
- Professional malpractice claims involving attorneys, accountants, registered representatives/broker-dealers, real estate brokers, architects and engineers
- Numerous tax issues and appeals
- Product liability
- Securities claims, ranging from large class action lawsuits to FINRA investor arbitrations
- Serving as a mediator or arbitrator, including lecturing about alternative dispute resolution procedures
- Title insurance and real estate issues
- Construction issues and disputes, including construction defects, design, specification and contract issues, lien claims and procedures
