Dick focuses primarily in real estate development disposition strategies; real estate portfolio management and negotiation; and design/build and construction projects.

He has guided companies in developing real estate projects in excess of $1 billion, including office, industrial and retail projects such as entertainment amphitheaters, wind tunnels and riverboat casinos. While managing the portfolios of more than 5 million square feet of commercial real estate, Dick has developed extraordinary lease management knowledge and the ability to efficiently coordinate national real estate programs, including determining real estate needs, structuring off-balance sheet financing vehicles, and negotiating ownership and lease terms.

Dick’s noteworthy real estate work has included:

  • Coordinating the international real estate portfolio for Jacobs Engineering Group for more than 250 locations.
  • Negotiating the design, development and operating agreements and off-balance sheet financing in two transactions totaling approximately $1 billion on behalf of Jacobs Technology and Environmental Management.

  • Coordinated international real estate portfolio for Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. for more than 250 locations, including negotiating all leases; structuring business transactions; sale, acquisition and financing of owned properties; review of capital expenditures; management of real estate brokers; and preparations and tracking of real estate metrics.
  • Negotiated design, development and operating agreements and off-balance sheet financing for two transactions totaling approximately $1 billion. One was for Jacobs Technology Inc. and its environmental test chambers for various corporations, including General Motors Co., Ford Motor Co., Behr Automotive, Wichita State University and Delphi Automotive PLC. The other was for Environmental Management Corp. and its water treatment plants for various corporations, including Solutia Inc., Townsends and Perdue Farms.
  • Negotiated credit leases and nonrecourse real estate project financings for clients.
  • Negotiated and coordinated development and divestiture of $150 million, 500-acre Riverport Development for Sverdrup/Boeing joint venture.
  • Negotiated real estate transactions nationwide for Culligan International Co.
