Paul has represented sophisticated developers, landlords, tenants, and investors in a variety of complex real estate projects, including, but not limited to, the purchase, sale, lease, and ground lease of commercial real estate. He also has experience representing both lenders and borrowers in transactions involving real estate finance.
Paul’s experience includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Representation of a Central Texas based real estate developer in connection with the disposition of a fully leased, 22,000-square-foot shopping center.
- Negotiation of retail leases for a San Antonio based real estate developer in connection with their ownership of a 38,000-square-foot luxury shopping center.
- Representation of an Austin area brewery in connection with the acquisition of over 100 acres of neighboring raw land.
- Negotiation of office and shopping center leases on behalf of the owner of a large-scale real estate portfolio including more than 500,000 square feet of retail space.
- Drafting and negotiation of financing documents in connection with $40+ M worth of commercial real estate secured loans for large, regional credit union.
- Closing of asset sale for large-scale national logistics company while simultaneously negotiating and closing transaction for sale of all company-owned commercial real estate.
