Nicole is a trial attorney who defends clients in high-stakes product liability suits.
Nicole represents Fortune 500 and other large companies in a variety of complex litigation matters, including asbestos, cosmetic talc, medical device, pharmaceutical, automotive, and toxic tort cases. With a broad background in mass tort and product liability actions, Nicole has represented clients in both state and federal courts.
Nicole began serving on trial teams very early in her career, taking multiple cosmetic talc cases to trial for a major multinational corporation. She’s extensively familiar with preparing and arguing a wide range of motions, deposing critical witnesses, and assisting trial teams in achieving favorable outcomes for clients at trial.
Originally trained as a broadcast journalist, Nicole realized that her skillset was a perfect fit for litigation: she knew how to conduct in-depth interviews, even with reluctant witnesses; she was a gifted writer and communicator; and she’d been extensively schooled in synthesizing complex information into a digestible narrative. True to form, her first love in litigation is the investigation stage, and she excels at uncovering facts and evidence that lay the groundwork for key defenses.
In addition to the investigative skills she honed as a journalism student, Nicole has extensive experience working closely with expert witnesses on novel scientific issues and developing strategies that highlight the strengths of clients’ defenses.
