Michael views the law in terms of solutions, not problems. He chose to focus his practice on litigation, because he sees it as an opportunity to find solutions for clients.

Michael enjoys the challenge and creative thinking inherent in his work. It’s exciting for him to find the best argument to present a client’s position in court, to determine a workable settlement, or to develop an innovative litigation strategy. His clients note that he’s always careful to understand their business objectives and strives to execute a litigation strategy consistent with those aims.

While Michael has represented clients in a wide array of industries through a variety of lawsuits, he has a special focus on complex business and intellectual property litigation. He’s especially passionate about working with intellectual property—in the modern business world, ideas, technologies and innovations are companies’ most valuable assets. This value is largely driven by intellectual property rights, the legal rights that Michael helps his clients assert and defend.
