With a degree in computer science, Megan is a natural collaborator on the firm’s Internet of Things team. She’s passionate about applying her technical knowledge in computer programming and software development to help clients protect their ideas, inventions and intellectual property. Megan regularly assists clients with patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. She guides individuals and companies at all phases of maturity: from student entrepreneurs to global corporations.
Megan also enjoys putting her computer science skills to work when helping clients on matters of data privacy and software licensing. She monitors and navigates evolving state, federal and international regulations and statutes on behalf of clients, ensuring clients meet or exceed compliance challenges such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
