Maury represents commercial financial institutions in structuring secured, cash-flow and unsecured loans, developing strategies, handling financial restructurings and advising on lender liability avoidance.

He also provides counsel to middle-market and multinational companies, serving their needs in mergers, acquisitions and disposition of their businesses.

Maury has held numerous leadership positions with the American Bar Association (ABA), including Chair of the Business Law Section and member of the ABA Board of Governors. Among other accomplishments, Maury was active in the Business Law Section's efforts to develop standardization and guidelines for opinion-issuing in third-party transactions, known as the Silverado Accord. For three years he served on the ABA Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary, which evaluates nominees to the federal bench.

Maury serves on the firm’s Diversity Council.
