Margaret began her legal career on the staff of a judge at the Colorado Court of Appeals, then moved into the paralegal work that she has pursued for most of the past 30 years. She is familiar with a wide variety of litigation, having assisted with matters of water law, eminent domain, commercial real estate, medical negligence, premises liability, labor and employment, and commercial litigation. Her experience covers both the plaintiff and defense teams, and she has participated in all phases of trials.

Prior to joining Husch Blackwell, Margaret served as a senior paralegal in the Natural Resources & Environment Section of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, focusing on water rights and water conservation issues. She quickly discovered a passion for environmental law and values helping clients protect natural resources and work within conservation laws.

Margaret is known for her attention to detail and for keeping preparation and docketing on track so that attorneys can focus on strategy. Clients comment on their trust in her and their faith that nothing Margaret handles will slip through the cracks.
