Overview

Leanne collaborates with her clients to craft legal solutions that achieve their strategic business goals as they navigate bankruptcy and litigation matters.

Leanne understands that clients must balance both legal analysis and strategic business considerations when deciding next steps in a bankruptcy or litigation matter. To bolster her ability to wholistically assist each client, Leanne has cultivated educational and professional experience at the nexus of business and law by earning an MBA in addition to her law degree. While at UVA, Leanne served as Editor-in-Chief of the Virginia Law & Business Review, where she worked alongside academics, practitioners, and policymakers to publish evolving scholarship in the field. Leanne uses her background in both law and business to work alongside clients in crafting legal solutions that integrate their business goals.

Leanne first honed her skill as a collaborative, strategic decision-maker in the Appraisal, Museum, and Corporate Art Services Team at a Dallas-based multi-national auction house. Here, Leanne and her clients worked together to create multi-step appraisal plans to meet their estate planning goals. In this role, Leanne also discovered her dual passions for financial markets and law, studying both to inform valuations.

Leanne is excited to practice law in her hometown of Austin, Texas.
