Overview

Leah is an experienced commercial real estate paralegal who assists attorneys and clients with complex deals.

Providing primary support to attorneys and clients, Leah is skilled in coordinating real estate transactions and financings. Working closely with legal teams, she assists developers, retailers, corporations, investors, lenders and individual clients as they purchase, sell, develop and lease retail, industrial, office and multifamily real estate. She regularly collaborates with banks and title companies.

Leah handles due diligence, legal document preparation and review, title and survey examination, land acquisition details, and entity formation and upkeep in order to move client matters forward. That each client’s deal is unique is what Leah enjoys most about paralegal work.

Experience
  • Helped legal team facilitate award-winning acquisition and closing of community catalyst redevelopment that allowed for brownfield site clean-up. Costs totaled $47 million of private and public funds including $30 million of New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) equity, city Tax increment Financing (TIF) grant and brownfield grant from Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).
Outside the Office

Leah is a Milwaukee sports fan. Go Brewers, go Packers, go Bucks! She also endeavors to visit every Major League Baseball stadium in the nation. A recent trip checked the box on four: Boston, Philadelphia and two in New York.
