Kathy’s authoritative knowledge and extensive first-hand experience with all forms of tax incentives provide clients with optimal solutions in all stages of a tax-credit investment. She has directed more than $4 billion of strategic equity investments across hundreds of nationwide community development projects that tap various forms of government programs, most notably tax credits involving low income housing, historic rehabilitation and new markets. Kathy has served on numerous national educational, governmental and conference panels that address tax credit investing and financing and has received many local and national honors for her leadership in banking, business and community development.

Before joining the firm, Kathy was founder and Chair/Chief Executive Officer for U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corp., the largest of its kind in the nation, which utilizes tax credits to carry out community development investments across the country. In addition, she was co-creator and founder of the State Tax Credit Clearinghouse, which purchases and ultimately sells state tax credits nationally.
Kathy also was a senior credit officer for Virtual Realty Enterprises, which specializes in the purchase of distressed real estate and debt secured by real estate.
