Having studied law in Germany, Katharina is passionate about helping clients with their immigration matters.
Katharina earned a six-year German degree in legal studies and completed a six-month clerkship with the District Court Dusseldorf before arriving in the United States. She now enjoys collaborating on the firm’s Immigration Team through research and client service. With her applied knowledge of government agency processes, including those with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Katharina assists legal teams and clients on matters involving:
- DOL labor certification applications
- Drafting, reviewing, editing and assembling agency documents
- Adjustment of status applications
- Work- and family-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions
Before joining the firm, Katharina completed a legal internship at an international steel recycling company based in Germany. Additionally, she handled management, training and planning for labor and employment–based professional development courses, also in Germany.
