Julie assists public and private companies across industry sectors – including energy, transportation, real estate, investment management and entertainment – with securities offerings, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.

Clients appreciate Julie’s hands-on experience with balancing business needs and legal demands. Prior to joining Husch Blackwell, Julie served as vice president and senior counsel for a multinational financial services institution, supporting the company’s wealth management business. In that role, Julie provided legal strategy and counsel for the company’s institutional and retail investment management lines of business, assisting with federal and state securities law compliance, private fund formation and operation, and fiduciary obligations. Julie also advised the company’s non-U.S. affiliates on compliance with U.S. federal and state securities laws.

Julie also has experience working with institutional and retail investment advisers as well as investment companies. Julie began her private practice in estate and business succession planning, and she applies the individualized client service approach she developed early in her career to each and every client.
