Overview

A member of our labor and employment practice group, Julia has 20 years of experience as a litigator.

After two decades of representing manufacturers in commercial, product liability and employment litigation, she knows and understands the costs, risks and uncertainty and frequently advises clients on managing that risk. In addition, Julia has advised clients on a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including employment agreements, severance agreements, independent contractor issues, internal investigations, harassment and discrimination matters, and restrictive covenants.

In addition, Julia acts as an outside general counsel for manufacturing clients, advising on a wide variety of matters ranging from employment advice to commercial contract review and dispute resolution. In this role, she considers it her job to ensure that the client is protected in matters beyond the narrow scope of one assignment, and she actively seeks to address issues the client may not have spotted yet. Having Julia on their team allows clients to focus on their business while she focuses on potential risks. Clients also value her rapid response time: Julia is known for being available, quickly returning calls, and jumping in immediately when matters are urgent.

While Julia’s goal is to prevent litigation, sometimes lawsuits are unavoidable. In those situations, Julia is an experienced and assertive litigator who is prepared to defend clients in a wide variety of matters. She knows employment, product liability and commercial litigation inside and out, and she has handled a diverse array of cases in many states.
