Joe grew up around a family-owned business originally started by his grandfather, giving him an ingrained desire to help small and medium-size businesses with their transactional legal needs.

He has a strong interest in assisting with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, documentation on target companies, and research of potential transaction issues. He also understands that new technologies, such as blockchain, play an increasingly important role in how manufacturers and distributors conduct business.

In law school, Joe served as an intern at the Marquette Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where he consulted with startup enterprises on legal status and business formation. He sees transactional law as a way to be involved with a multitude of businesses and touch a wide variety of industries.
