Jessica is a corporate and transactional attorney with a passion for the renewable energy industry.

Her interest in corporate work dates to the very beginning of her career: Jessica discovered an interest in contract law as a law student and quickly realized as an attorney that she had a gift for negotiating. She enjoys bringing parties together to reach a mutually beneficial result, a successful transaction that represents a win for both sides.

Jessica focuses her practice on the renewable energy industry, representing developers, investors and energy companies in transactions involving the development, financing, construction, acquisition and sale of energy and infrastructure projects. She often works with projects all the way through their development cycle, from the purchase of vacant property through planning and construction, all the way to a completed renewable energy facility. Jessica conducts due diligence and drafts and analyzes transactional and financing documents, such as:

  • Credit agreements and related debt documents
  • Assignment and contribution agreements
  • Purchase and sale agreements
  • Power purchase agreements
  • Engineering, procurement and construction agreements
  • Joint venture agreements

Renewable energy is an industry she’s excited to play a role in: Jessica is passionate about using her legal skills to advance projects that will improve the world, and she’s enthusiastic about being on the forefront of the new energy technologies that will shape the future.

Jessica is known for her excitement for and interest in clients’ work, but also for her reliability and creativity. With a focus on client needs, she excels at finding creative solutions to challenges that arise in transactions.
