Overview

Jennifer is a senior paralegal who concentrates her work in the area of intellectual property.

Jennifer assists attorneys and clients with the prosecution of U.S. and international patent and trademark applications, as well as U.S. copyright registrations.

Her representative work experience includes:

  • Performing preliminary trademark searches.
  • Conducting patent assignee, inventor and title searches using U.S. and foreign databases.  
  • Preparing and filing patent applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office using EFS-Web.
  • Preparing and filing documents required for U.S. prosecution of pending patent applications and post-issuance patent matters, including assignments, responses to office actions, Information Disclosure Statements and other documents.
  • Conducting legal research for patent and trademark matters.
  • Coordinating and reviewing investigations.
  • Preparing and files trademark and copyright applications and related documents. 
  • Preparing and filing Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy complaints with the Forum.
  • Preparing and filing documents required for U.S. prosecution of pending trademark applications and post-registration trademark matters, including assignments, responses to office actions, extensions of time, renewal applications, statements of use and declarations of use.
  • Preparing and filing documents with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board with respect to opposition and cancellation proceedings.
  • Assisting in all facets of foreign registration and post-registration trademark processes.
  • Researching information concerning potential trademark and copyright infringers/infringements to assist in litigation evaluations.
  • Corresponding with clients on proper use and maintenance of trademarks and copyrights.
  • Maintaining individual client patent and trademark portfolios.
  • Corresponding with clients and foreign associates regarding actions required on clients’ behalf.
