In an era when state and federal laws constantly evolve, Jennifer provides invaluable help in maintaining compliance and resolving disputes.

Researching new questions and finding new solutions fascinate Jennifer, who advises clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including disputes involving the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and Americans with Disabilities Act. She also provides commercial litigation services. Clients appreciate her curiosity and innovative thinking on these complex, ever-changing issues.

Additionally, Jennifer is vice chair of the firm’s Data Retention and Management Group, which helps businesses manage paper and electronic records, another business process clients may find challenging to handle. She drafts and implements retention policies and schedules for clients, both for government compliance and litigation purposes.

  • Assisted in reviewing job applications for compliance with various federal and state laws, including Americans with Disabilities Act and Equal Pay Act.

  • Conducted discrimination and harassment training for executive- and management-level employees.
  • Helped clients maintain compliance with federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), drafting disclosure and authorization forms, pre-adverse and post-adverse action notices, and advising clients on FCRA issues related to job applications and hiring.
Outside the Office

Jennifer and her husband are new parents, which accounts for much of her free time. She enjoys yoga and reading, and she and her husband love hiking. Especially memorable hikes include Crabtree Falls and Sharp Top in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains.
