Jennifer assists clients and legal teams in moving complex commercial real estate projects forward.

Jennifer has many years of experience helping attorneys and clients at every phase of nationwide commercial real estate projects. From gathering and proofreading research documents to collaborating with city employees on zoning matters to preparing closing documents, Jennifer manages and streamlines large-scale projects. She has significant experience with:

  • Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC)
  • Community Improvement Districts (CID)
  • Opportunity Zones

  • Facilitated completion of two Midwestern data center projects using public financings.
  • Worked on 15,000 units of affordable house across the nation.

Real Estate Funding

  • Facilitated preparation and submission of all applications for tax exemption both at federal and state level.
  • Prepared and submitted applications for grant funding.
  • Prepared and submitted applications for third-party funding.

Closings and Title Review

  • For client closings, conducted due diligence, prepared for attorney review and recorded all applicable documents nationwide: title and survey memos, title insurance, market studies, construction documentation, lien searches, inspections, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) financing statements, mortgage payoff information, title objection letters, commercial settlement statements, limited partnership agreements, operating agreements, security agreements, order and review surveys, appraisals, promissory notes and corporate resolutions.
  • Prepared for attorney review initial drafts of all required documentation for municipal bond closings.
  • Worked closely with governmental agencies, investors and affordable housing developers to shepherd low-income housing projects through closing process.
  • Obtained and prepared title insurance commitments/title insurance policies/title examinations nationally.

Governmental

  • Tracked legislation introduced before General Assembly from introduction through final vote.
  • Attended legislative hearings regarding subject legislation.
  • Prepared and filed executive agency and legislative agent lobbying statements.

Litigation

  • Facilitated litigation matters including court filings, client interviews, research and filing.
Outside the Office

Jennifer makes everything – from cakes to welded metal lanterns.

Jennifer won’t buy a photo frame, she’ll make one. She especially likes putting on a mask at the welding studio to create a metal flower.

Community Leadership

A Helping Hand in Her Community.

Jennifer has donated significant time to Kiwanis International. In partnership with this organization, she’s assisted the homeless at churches, participated in arts festival fundraisers and organized a reading buddies afterschool program in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
