Overview

Jenna is a senior paralegal who concentrates on product liability, construction defect, personal injury, and insurance and warranty litigation.

Jenna is experienced in all phases of the litigation process at the state, federal and appellate court levels. She manages cases from initial investigation through large-scale document production, arbitrations and pretrial preparation. Jenna assists attorneys at trial with complex, multiparty, high-profile cases and is highly skilled in many trial software systems, including Sanction and TrialPad.

Jenna is dedicated to using technology to create efficient and cost-effective solutions for firm clients. She is involved with the creation of litigation readiness systems and implementation of iPad applications and management software. She also works on the preservation, collection, review, production and presentation of eDiscovery.

Jenna has developed a protocol for managing the workflow of data through the phases of eDiscovery and collaborates with attorneys and staff to maintain consistent and defensible practices relating to litigation technology and eDiscovery. Jenna is actively involved with the legal project management initiative at Husch Blackwell which is dedicated to increasing client value and continued commitment to provide exceptional client services.

Her representative work includes:

  • As lead paralegal and trial technologist, assisted in obtaining a $6 million jury verdict during a six-week trial relating to a construction defect of a parking structure and catastrophic resulting injuries.
  • As lead paralegal and trial technologist, assisted in obtaining a unanimous defense verdict for our client against product liability claims, including failure to warn and defective product design, as well as punitive damages.
  • Assisted as lead paralegal in successfully obtaining a multimillion-dollar settlement for our client on a case involving undue influence and tortious interference with inheritance.
  • Assisted as lead paralegal on cases involving extensive discovery, including providing support at client sites in management of large-scale document productions and case strategy • meetings, and managing attorney review teams on large-scale document review and productions.
  • Served as lead paralegal on cases involving fiduciary duties, UCC warranty claims and malpractice.
