Jared draws on broad corporate experience as he guides clients through daily operational challenges and formulates long-term strategies to further their business goals.
Estate planning for families and other business owners is a particular focus for Jared. He designs and implements estate plans with an eye to minimizing income, gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer taxes. He also drafts and develops core estate planning instruments such as wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts and powers of attorney, and advises business owners on succession plans for transferring and exiting their business.
In the corporate arena, Jared advises clients on entity formation, governance and general contractual matters. He also has experience counseling nonprofit clients on formation, governance and tax-related matters.
He previously worked as a graduate tax intern for the Committee on Ways and Means within the U.S. House of Representatives and conducted research for the committee’s Tax and Oversight staff.
