Overview

Helen advocates for clients in complex commercial litigation matters.

Helen came to the practice of law after working for several years as an insurance claim representative. In switching careers, Helen was motivated by a desire to help people and to work with clients to achieve their goals.

After graduating from law school, Helen served as a term clerk for judges on the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska and the Nebraska Court of Appeals. Her clerkships developed her interest in litigation—a practice area Helen realized was, at its core, problem-solving. She saw firsthand how important research and writing skills were, and she had many opportunities to observe effective client representation. She has a solid understanding of the arguments courts like to see.

At Husch Blackwell, Helen represents clients in a wide variety of business disputes in both federal and state court and alternative dispute resolution. Her aim is for clients to know she’s their advocate, and she places a high priority on listening to clients and ensuring that their goals come first.
