Gaylord focuses his practice on lending, development and commercial leasing matters.

He is a frequent speaker on the topic of real estate finance and is the past author of the Kansas chapter of State-by-State Guide to Commercial Real Estate Leases.

Gaylord served as a Captain in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1981 and as a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1981 to 1983.
