Dedicated to complex commercial litigation and class action defense, Elizabeth is a staunch advocate for business interests and goals.

Elizabeth concentrates her practice on assisting corporate clients in defending against class action claims and other complex litigation. Legal teams and clients appreciate her research and strategic discovery solutions that keep the business’ goals in mind. Her precision and negotiation during critical phases of litigation can minimize and reduce the burden and expense of discovery on clients.

In addition to her class action focus, Elizabeth also handles breach of contract and other sophisticated commercial litigation for clients across industries, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Having served as a judicial law clerk in the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One, and as an Assistant Attorney General for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, Elizabeth brings experience in criminal, civil and appellate work to client commercial litigation. She is known for her ability to build relationships, collaborate and streamline optimal strategies and solutions on behalf of clients.

Husch Blackwell Adds Six Litigators to Phoenix Office

Following the August move of Dan Goldfine, Josh Grabel, Jamie Halavais and Ian Fischer to the office, the September addition of Garcia and Hembd further enhances Husch Blackwell’s Phoenix attorney roster.

Outside the Office

Elizabeth and her husband stay busy with three young sons and their extracurricular activities. Her high-wire act is coordinating their schedules.

Elizabeth is very active in her church, teaching music in the Sunday School Department along with other involvement.
