Dilroop assists employers in building strong benefits programs and compensation models that comply with all applicable state and federal laws.

Especially in today’s hypercompetitive search for talent, employee benefits and compensation have never played a more crucial role in helping companies grow and prosper. Dilroop helps clients think through the many challenges associated with benefits and compensation, including fiduciary rule compliance, ERISA preemption, investment due diligence and executive compensation arrangements.

She serves as a valuable resource to clients, both by providing counsel to keep benefit plans in compliance with the law and by developing strategies for handling disputes and investigations. She routinely advises clients on plan amendments and SPD drafts and provides timely research and analysis on various aspects of executive compensation. Dilroop also draws on her knowledge of recent legislative and regulatory changes and advises clients on how such developments can impact their businesses.

Prior to entering private practice, Dilroop served as a legal intern at the Employment Litigation Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of General Counsel. Dilroop began her career in private practice at a highly regarded Washington-based law firm devoted to employee benefits and compensation law, where she gained experience regarding the fiduciary rule impact on financial institutions, third party administrators and employers.
