Especially in today’s hypercompetitive search for talent, employee benefits and compensation have never played a more crucial role in helping companies grow and prosper. Dilroop helps her clients think through the many challenges associated with benefits and compensation, including fiduciary rule compliance, ERISA preemption, investment due diligence and executive compensation arrangements.

She serves as a valuable resource to her clients, both in terms of providing counsel in keeping plans in compliance with the law, as well as in developing strategies for handling disputes and investigations. She routinely advises clients on plan amendments and SPD drafts and provides timely research and analysis on various aspects of executive compensation. Dilroop also draws upon her knowledge of recent legislative and regulatory changes and advises clients on how such developments can impact their businesses. Dilroop has also represented clients facing U.S. Department of Labor investigations. She frequently writes and speaks on employee benefits and compensation issues.

Prior to entering private practice, Dilroop served as a legal intern at the Employment Litigation Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of General Counsel. Dilroop began her career in private practice at a highly regarded Washington-based law firm devoted to employee benefits and compensation law, where she gained a deep appreciation for the complexities of this area of law and how impactful it can be on both employers and employees.
