David represents clients in the manufacturing, chemical and petrochemical industries in a range of litigation matters, including breach of contract, toxic tort and product liability.
As a member of several client teams, David assists with the development of defense strategies, conducts legal research, handles discovery and fact investigation, helps to prepare cases for trial, attends and takes depositions and has extensive motion practice experience.
David is a member of the firm’s public policy sector and has assisted in numerous matters involving Missouri government and regulatory issues, including initiative petitions, election contests and private suits against government officials.
David has been extensively involved with pro bono legal representation, including appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Among others, he assists pro bono clients referred through Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, the Independence Center of St. Louis and Grace Hill Settlement House.
After working with the firm as a summer associate in 2013, David joined Husch Blackwell as an associate in 2014. While pursuing his law degree, he interned at the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and served as a judicial intern for Chief Justice David R. Herndon in the Southern District of Illinois
