Craig strives to be a true business partner in complex corporate legal matters.

A fascination with business theory and strategy led Craig to corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Craig has led transactions valued up to $9 billion, as well as an initial public offering of shares valued at $1.9 billion. He’s passionate about supporting business deals and using his legal skills to help clients reach their objectives through the most favorable transaction possible.

In addition to his corporate practice, Craig has worked at a telecommunications company overseeing transactions, in the role of general counsel and eventually as senior vice president. His time as a general counsel taught him how to serve as a true business partner. Craig enjoys getting to know businesses inside and out, helping clients develop successful business strategies.

Experience
  • Played key leadership role in positioning telecommunications company for, and executing, initial public offering (IPO) of company shares valued at $1.9B, including preparation of Form S-l registration statement and NYSE filings.
  • Led dozens of complex merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions valued between $5M and $9B involving sophisticated equity rights and multiple approvals – antitrust, foreign ownership, federal, state and local regulatory and private contract, including: $9.1B sale of 70% of telecommunications company; $2.55B acquisition of equity and assets; and $975M acquisition of equity and assets.
  • Oversaw multiple financing transactions valued between $250M and $1.5B, including revolving loans, term loans and bond offerings, and led related reporting obligations related to same.
Outside the Office

Craig spends much of his free time with his wife, Jennifer, and their two teenage children. He also enjoys watching sports and is a dedicated fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues along with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Community Leadership

Craig is very active with the Jewish Federation of St Louis, with a particular focus on the organization’s community impact strategies.
