Drawing on her broad industry knowledge, Colleen routinely assists clients, both large and small, with the preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent applications. In addition, Colleen counsels clients and prepares opinions regarding patent-related issues, including patent landscapes, patentability, invalidity, and freedom-to-operate.

Colleen works with innovations in a wide range of areas, including agricultural chemistry, pharmaceutical formulations, medical devices and industrial support systems. She regularly manages clients’ entire patent portfolios and helps them develop global intellectual property protection strategies.

Colleen enjoys crocheting, making artisanal soap, and reading thrillers and mystery novels.

She especially loves to spend time with her miniature goldendoodle, Nutmeg, and her cat, Margot. (After a few contentious years together, Nutmeg and Margot are finally friends.)
