As a corporate tax attorney, Christopher offers clients a unique and especially extensive view of legal tax issues. He has worked for two Big Four accounting firms, practicing in the areas of corporate tax, international tax, and mergers and acquisitions, specifically providing tax guidance for transactions with Fortune 100 multinational clients. His perspective of the ever-changing tax landscape includes overhauls of U.S. and international corporate tax codes (BREXIT, 2016 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act [TCJA], and CARES Act). Christopher also represented the state in criminal and civil litigation pertaining to tax fraud and tax evasion matters as Assistant Circuit Attorney in the White-Collar Crime Unit of the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office (CAO).
The foundation of Christopher’s legal tax knowledge is based in his years serving as an accountant and tax analyst for a global process controls manufacturer. Christopher has also held externships with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Missouri, and U.S. Tax Court.
