As Director of Operations for Husch Blackwell’s Technology, Manufacturing and Transportation business unit, Chip is charged with overseeing daily operations, financial management and execution of strategic plans for the business unit. Drawing on 20 years of C-level operations experience, he works with firm leadership and the unit’s nearly 200 attorneys and legal professionals to drive strategy and improve performance to create a better client experience.
An innovative and resourceful problem-solver, Chip ensures that client matters are staffed properly and that client needs are satisfied in a timely fashion. He has a background in implementing Lean Six Sigma principles in the legal environment and focuses on legal project management to help clients obtain business goals.
With and MBA and background in economics, Chip has spent his entire career focused on financial and operational management. For the last 15 years he has led operations and financial strategy for regional law firms in the Mountain-West. Prior to his career in the legal industry, Chip was CFO of a health and wellness software company and General Manager of the Western Region of a $2 billion a year provider of contract staffing, consulting, and diversified asset protection-related services.
