In addition to his franchise practice, Carlos represents a wide range of clients on general corporate matters, legally-compliant joint venture arrangements, raising capital, mergers & acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.

  • As in house counsel, oversaw workforce expansions from 110 to 600 employees, total revenues from $80M to nearly $400M, and customer count from 5,700 to 25,000+ in two-year period.

In his free time, Carlos enjoys studying 20th century U.S. and sports history as well as traveling.

Community Leadership

Carlos is passionate about economic development in emerging and overlooked communities.

In addition to being a former board member on the Southern Dallas Development Corporation (SDDC), Carlos is regularly involved in initiatives that support growth in emerging and overlooked communities. He’s continually excited by the power and talent of these small business owners – and he enjoys supporting their vision through mentoring, making connections and reducing the informational gap during speaking engagements. Carlos also mentors young people in collaboration with Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He was recently appointed to the Board of the Desoto Economic Development Corporation.
