Brent assists clients with real estate transactions.
Brent always knew law would be a perfect fit for his analytical mind. He soon realized that real estate, with its detailed contracts and its myriad complex avenues, would be an ideal practice area, and he began his career working with the securities requirements that fuel real estate transactions. He first served in the general counsel office of a financial services firm and then took a position as a due diligence officer for a privately held broker-dealer. Brent’s early experience left him extensively aware of the intricate details of contracts and real estate financing.
At Husch Blackwell, Brent assists a variety of clients with corporate real estate transactions, including leasing, purchase and sale. He is heavily involved in the drafting and negotiation of client contracts and purchase and sale agreements.
With a gift for thinking outside the box to resolve any obstacles that occur during a transaction, Brent draws on his in-house experience to best serve clients. His time at the financial services firm and the broker-dealer left him with an inside understanding of the business challenges and internal realities faced by clients, and he also grasps what’s most helpful from outside counsel. Brent’s goal is for all clients to always feel that they are his top priority.
