Ashleigh is an attorney in the Chicago office of Husch Blackwell, where she focuses on litigation. She joined the firm in 2017.
Prior to joining the firm, Ashleigh was an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General. In that role, she prosecuted labor claims on behalf of the Illinois Department of Labor, gaining significant trial experience. She has experience in all stages of trial level litigation, from initial case evaluation through post-judgment collection. She has drafted complaints, argued motions and successfully obtained and defended dispositive motions on behalf of state agencies. Ashleigh has successfully tried employee disciplinary actions before administrative bodies, and has defended the appeals of the administrative decisions of state agencies in circuit court.
During law school, Ashleigh served as a volunteer mediator, facilitating settlements between contentious Cook County litigants involved in landlord-tenant and contract disputes. She was a law intern at Allstate Insurance Company and the American Civil Liberties Union. She was also a teaching assistant for both Contracts and International Business Law Negotiations.
