Anthony advocates for clients as a commercial litigator, skilled strategist and former public servant.

Anthony is a commercial litigator representing clients on a range of matters across sectors. He works on all phases of litigation, from proactive and cost-effective compliance, mediation and arbitration, through discovery and trial. Clients appreciate his background handling legal matters from the governmental viewpoint, having served as an Assistant County Attorney in Harris County, Texas. During this time he worked on complex land project negotiations and settlements, including county acquisitions for the Hurricane Harvey Buyout Project. He also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Montgomery County, Texas, where he gained courtroom experience prosecuting trial cases from jury selection to closing arguments.

Advocating for clients, Anthony enjoys anticipating and predicting legal paths and strategizing appropriately. Legal teams and clients appreciate his attentive research skills, which prepare each unique matter to be handled optimally with client business goals in mind, whether in or out of the courtroom.

  • Advised Harris County, Harris County Flood Control District, City of Pasadena and other local governmental entities in negotiations and agreed settlements for various land projects, including Hurricane Harvey Buyout, flood mitigation, road expansion and park creation.
  • Represented governmental entities in special commissioner hearings and eminent domain litigation, including evaluating case value, reviewing land appraisals, interviewing and examining expert witnesses, and requesting and providing discovery as lead counsel.
  • Prosecuted misdemeanor and felony criminal offenses in justice of the peace, county and district courts, including 14 trials to verdict as lead counsel.
Outside the Office

Anthony and his wife enjoy traveling. Ask him about his trips to London, Paris, Nicaragua, and Israel. At home, the couple explores local restaurants and Anthony aims to read a work of fiction and nonfiction each month. “A Thousand Splendid Suns” by Khaled Hosseini was a recent favorite novel.
